Awwwww, is that a baby bunny and a dog together? Well, yes it is. But the story is more than just a warm-fuzzy cute one, all captured in the beautiful land of Lake Clear, Ottawa Valley, Canada.
In the YouTube video uploaded by David Jackson, the owner’s 11-year-old yellow lab Meg plays cheerfully with his new baby bunny friend, Little John Stamos.
It all went down when Jackson was out walking with Meg in his yard. He heard a commotion and then noticed a baby bunny that was separated from his mother. His mother fled when she noticed ravens circling in the sky above.
Jackson feared for the rabbit’s safety, so he stayed with the baby until the ravens left. While he was waiting, he watched in amazement as Meg began playing with the little bunny. That’s when he took out his camera and started capturing the heart-melting “awwwww” moment for his YouTube video.
Finally, when the ravens flew away, Jackson carefully returned the itsy-bitsy, tiny bunny back under the tree stump where it would be reunited with its mother. While Jackson’s lucky video of Meg playing with Little John Stamos has captured the hearts of many, protecting an adorable baby rabbit, is priceless.
Thank you Jackson for looking out for other animals especially when a precious young one could be sitting right in your backyard.
